As a member of the Black Orchid Matriarch Society
(BOMS) you will receive a membership card that will identify you and
allow you special discounts with our clan affiliate businesses (CABs)
and Member Owned Businesses (MOBs).
In much earlier times the women would form
together in a clan. Some would work fields and gather while others
remained home and cared for the children. In this respect a BOMS clan
can work the same way. Right now if you are a working Mother you pay
for child care, perhaps even with an agency, or a friend’s teen-ager
maybe. As part of the clan you would have access to others in your
area that are dedicated to raising children in the same educated
geared and supportive thinking as yourself. By having a clan member
assist you are supporting the clan as a whole since the business and
economics of the clan is staying within the clan. Also some clan members may be interested in babysitting in
exchange for business services that you may provide. This bartering
thought process again assists Women as a whole.
There may be women who are having a tough time or
who are physically limited in what they can do. Your sisters or
workers would be there to help if you broke your leg and needed
someone to cut the grass. Or perhaps you have the flu but your child
needs to be run to the soccer game; you would have a list of other
clan members who you could call. The possibilities of how being in a clan can benefit you and
your children are unlimited.
Each clan will have a matriarch social
structure of female members-who may be Mothers or workers (women
without children), children, and male workers. All children of all the
Clan Members will be looked after and cared for like a loving extended
family. Since all female clan members are like sisters, then all women
would be like Aunts to the children.
